About SUNDOWN

Born in Brisbane. Built for Brisbane. A one-day, two-stage house, Afro house, hip-hop and R&B festival on the Brisbane River, running on Saturday 3 October 2026 at Superordinary, Northshore Brisbane.

The festival

Doors 4:00 PM. The event runs to 11:00 PM AEST. The sun goes down over the river and the night runs from there. The bill plays across two stages: house and Afro House outdoors under a multi-tier stage, hip-hop and R&B indoors, in the round. Both run at once so neither room ever empties. It is an 18+ event. Set times aren't published — both stages run from doors to close.

The organisers

SUNDOWN is produced by AMPED Entertainment Group Pty Ltd (ABN 38 694 794 128), a Brisbane promoter, and presented with AMPM Entertainment, AM Social, PM Social. Between them the team has spent years running club nights and touring shows in this city, which is where the shape of this event comes from: a lineup that stands up nationally, a site that is easy to move around, and a bar and food offer that works for a full night rather than an hour. This is the first edition, and it is built to come back.

Northshore Brisbane

Superordinary sits in Northshore Brisbane, a working dock precinct on the Brisbane River, a few kilometres downstream from the CBD. It is industrial in the way that suits this kind of event — hardstand, big volumes and the river at its edge. The precinct has carried Brisbane's large-scale events for years.
